Changing Your Personality ?
It was really exciting to read your faults..... one-by-one, each and everyone of them seems to totally tally with mine. You and me seem to be a sort of identical personalities. And of course I agree totally with Mayalili who shows how to convert each of these weaknesses into a corresponding strength..... all that is needed is the right perspective and a bit of moderation!! Truly fantastic!!
Changing Your Personality ?
well your best chance at the moment is to see an anger management specialist or perhaps attend one of their classes. if you dont do something soon, it will get harder to find jobs, do well in relationships....whatever, you need some help dude.

or consult some books if you have to,. i personally would go with group therapy as you can connect with other people just like you
Anthony Robbins has mentioned this in one of his books. It's called Awaken The Giant Within. It has a lot of good info in there to change your life. One of the things he says is that when he see's someones mannerisms he likes he copies it. And he keeps doing it until it becomes him. He said you might think it is phony, but once you do something long enough it really does become you.
the first thing you should do is to identify the trigger for those causes and stay away from them. Just sit back and just live life as it is, be more open-minded and just simply NOT CARE about things. Most important thing is to just take less notice and care less about things that happen. Instead, set one goal, one thing u really wanna do in yr life and chase after it.
Like this:

-laziness --%26gt; easy going, down to Earth

-narrow-mindedness --%26gt; focused

-stubborn --%26gt; dedicated

-easily irritable --%26gt; sensetive

-never let go --%26gt; reliable, dependable

-take life too seriously --%26gt; caring

-hypocritic --%26gt; normal

-overly analytical --%26gt; detail/ task oriented

-blunt --%26gt; straight shooter, to the point, clear, honest

-rude --%26gt; honest

- I love to exaggerate --%26gt; creative
That faster and more deeply one trips and scraps the bottom, the more motivated one would be in making changes. Just hope one does not spend too long in that degenerated phase and grew accustomed to it - or worse turns completely hopeless and powerless in making changes.
Consult the works of Tony Robbins
Fall in love.........dude.
Okay I just want to add...

Wow if I could rate or choose best answer here, I'd definitely go with Mayalilie's. Thanks, it helped me realize some things too!
I appreciate that you have nicely made a self analysis of your own present personality. You have expressed a desire to become a better person and come out of the weaknesses, shortcomings or deficiencies in you. Better try to change your present life style and overcome the defects.

Here is a good formula. Take it. If it is good, accept it.

Try to excel in every possible way in your life to reach higher and higher levels of understanding, awareness and pure knowledge. It is called integration of personality. For this purpose, you have to surcharge your body and mind in a homogeneous manner in order to develop yourselves in the following six-fold dimensions and successfully achieve the purpose and goal in life.

1) Physical fitness, majestic body with vigor, vitality and strength;

2) Moral strength with intellectual depth and brilliance.

3) Psychological maturity

4) Aesthetic taste (perception of the beauty of art, nature and environment;

5) Material well-being; and

6) Loving heart

We should thus give a meaning to our life's existence in order to release us from the bondage and ignorance and to lead us from unreal to real, from darkness to light and from impermanence to permanence.
Why would you want to change? All those things are good or bad depending on how you use them. Instead of changing each of them, find a way to make them work for you and for those around you.
question is irrelevant, for if i answer this it would be admitting that people do not change at all and that you are the same person as you were yesterday.
